What are we doing? -We're upgrading LoanPro's underlying MySQL database to version 8.0. This upgrade will enhance security, stability, and scalability.
Why are we doing it? -MySQL 8.0 offers improved security features, better performance, and enables us to provide new capabilities to our clients.
What does this mean for you? -For most clients, this upgrade will be seamless and require no action. However, if you're using a dedicated RDS with MySQL binlog replication, we will be performing the change on October 10th.
What to Expect?
SaaS -This Rollout will require a 30 minute interval of downtime for all SaaS clients on Thursday, October 10st, at 4am MT. -This changeover (happening on 10/10) will only impact SaaS clients with a dedicated RDS, as previously, on 9/25, we made the change to the master database where clients with no dedicated RDS was migrated.
VPC (PSaaS) -Following the October Major release, we will begin the rollout environment by environment. -Your Customer Success Manager will reach out to coordinate a release window which will constitute a 30-minute downtime per environment.
ALL ENVIRONMENTS MUST BE MIGRATED BEFORE NOVEMBER 29TH.
